Camp Overview:

Join us for Skills Week at Hoops Mechanic, a dynamic camp designed to enhance your basketball abilities through focused skill development and fun competitions. Each day, we'll break down a different skill set, ensuring comprehensive coverage of essential basketball techniques.

Daily Breakdown:

Day 1: Shooting

• Master the art of shooting with drills focused on form, consistency, and range. Learn techniques to improve accuracy and develop a reliable shot from various positions on the court.

Day 2: Ball Handling

• Enhance your dribbling skills with advanced ball-handling drills. Focus on control, speed, and maneuverability to become more effective in creating scoring opportunities and navigating through defenders.

Day 3: Post Concepts

• Develop your post play with techniques for scoring and defending in the paint. Learn footwork, positioning, and moves that will make you a dominant force near the basket.

Day 4: Defensive Concepts

• Build a strong defensive foundation with drills focused on positioning, footwork, and anticipation. Learn to effectively guard your opponent, understand defensive schemes, and become a crucial part of your team's defense.

Day 5: Offensive Concepts and Full-Court Games

• Integrate all the skills you've learned throughout the week into full-court games. Focus on offensive strategies, teamwork, and game situations to put your training into practice. Compete in full-court games that highlight your improved skills and basketball IQ.

• Skill-Focused Training: Each day is dedicated to mastering a specific skill, providing in-depth instruction and practice.
• Daily Contests: Test your skills in daily contests and compete for prizes.
• Full-Court Games: On Day 5, put all your new skills to the test in full-court games, incorporating everything you've learned throughout the week.
• Skill Level-Based Grouping: Our camp is based on skill level, not age. We will have a beginners' side and an advanced side to ensure everyone gets the individual attention they need. This structure allows for tailored coaching and development, helping each athlete improve at their own pace.

Skills Week is open to athletes aged 10 and above, with exceptions made for younger athletes approved by our trainers. This camp is perfect for players looking to improve their overall game and have fun while doing it.
